We are parents who love spending time with their kids. We enjoy playing games and exploring new things together. We hope that some of the ideas we share on this website will help you to have fun with your little ones, too!

At Messy Learning Kids, we believe in the importance of play and its ability to help children learn and grow. That’s why we offer activities that encourage imaginative play and creativity.  With our help, your child can explore new worlds, and learn new skills.

Power of mess

Toddlers have an amazing ability to use their imagination and get messy with different materials and textures. This can help them explore the world around them and learn about their surroundings.

For example, they can feel the different textures of various fabrics, play with sand and water, or mix different colors together. They can also use their senses to explore new flavors and smells. This helps them learn about the world in a fun and interactive way.

There are innumerable benefits to letting kids be messy:

  • It’s a great way for them to have fun!  From fingerpainting to making mud pies, there are endless possibilities for creative play when things are a little messy.
  • Not only that, but messiness also helps kids learn.  They can explore their senses, learn about the world around them, and develop problem-solving skills.
  • Let’s not forget that messy moments are some of the best memories parents and kids share together.  So let your kids get messy — it’s good for them!

We love using cardboard, household items, and treasures from nature that can be recycled or reused. We use a lot of paint, glue and sticky paper to create play-based learning activities. There are lot of sensory plays, constructions, outdoor activities and more. Most of them are open-ended and child-led and of course playful.

Thank you for visiting Messy Learning Kids, we are so happy to have you here! We hope that you have fun browsing our website for fun crafts, art, and different activity ideas to try with your kids.

Meet the Team

Aniko - Messy Learning Kids

I’m a former trained teacher and now a stay-at-home mom of 2 and 5 years old girls.

Besides this blog I’m helping out other bloggers too, that’s why I came up with the idea of MessyLearningKids.

I love spending time with my daughters. Together we are exploring new things. I’m passionate about providing the best possible life for them.

I want them to know that there’s more to life than just watching TV or playing on the iPad all day. I want them to experience new things, learn new things, and make memories with me.

I’m excited to help other parents through our blog.

Eniko - Messy Learning Kids

I am a formally trained teacher. I am a stay-at-home mom of a 3 year old.

I wanted to spend quality time with my child in her very first and most important years.

I want her to gain a passion for learning by the time she starts kindergarten.

We have a lot of fun doing different activities both indoors and outdoors and decided to share these ideas with others.
