Gross Motors

Did you know that gross motor skills involve large muscle groups and include activities such as crawling, walking, running, and jumping?
These skills help children develop strength and coordination.
Gross motor skills are an important part of a child's development. These skills help them to move their body in a coordinated way.
Gross motor skills also help lay the foundation for fine motor skill movements (pinching or grasping). A child who has strong gross motor skills is more likely to be able to develop strong fine motor skills.
